![]() ![]() I have an older Gig board with optical out, and the Realtek drivers that i used for that board had theater 5.1 options. I cannot get 5.1 audio from the optical S/PDIF Out, and figured this software might be the fix. I would expect that this software is included with the MPower boards as well. It is part of the software package included with the MB, and is for sale by Creative. No where does the Creative site say it is a external soundcard required software. Quote from Creative: The Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 software suite is a powerful audio platform equipped with cutting-edge audio technology, offering premium audio quality, effects and features for ordinary PC systems equipped with only basic onboard audio. ![]() For anyone that says I do not have a SB card installed, my understanding is that this is not a driver, but software to enhance basic onboard audio on a motherboard. ![]() Has anyone else purchased this board and installed the XFI MB3 software from the included driver CD? I installed the software and it states that "There is no supported audio device available". New purchaser of the Z87-GD65 motherboard. ![]()
